Default 11R exp. pack firmware APP CRASH

Hello, I upgraded to PT 8.0.5, and download 11R drivers & installed as advised.
Then installed Expansion pack on the computer I guess successfully because firmware application ended up on Desk Top as described. Thats when the trouble begins.I will include Sandra Report here, then continue.SiSoftware Sandra

Default Re: 11R exp. pack firmware APP CRASH

So do you have IE9 installed or not?

If you do, then uninstall it. And run the ERXP.

And just to be clear, you are installing the ERXP on an Eleven Rack with firmware 1.0.3 or under correct? Because once the 11R is upgraded to the ERXP, you never have to run the firmware updater again.

If you don't know how to check firmware version, you can learn here:

Default Re: 11R exp. pack firmware APP CRASH

Benoni, Thank you for the response, it made me review the installed updates in control panel again, which contains 220+/- updates that look very similar, and found IE9 and uninstalled it as described in the "sticky" from avid.
The version before in the 11R was 1.0.2 and after successfully running the App it is now 2.0.1.
So all is good, I dont know how you get anything else done Benoni as many times as i have read your helpful responses over the past couple of years but thank you. Bill R.
