Can anyone help on Ilok licence transfer question (HD)

Hi there..I posted this in the buy/sell forum , but no response!! ..thought I would try here

Hi all

after MANY years of having a PT Hd3 system, I am finding that PT 9 on a fast macbook pro is giving me enough power to now sell the HD system.
When I sell the HD3 , what LICENCE can I offer as part of the deal, given that I want to retain the HD features on the Ilok of Pt9.
My Ilok shows these licences

Pro Tools HD 7 Digidesign License
Pro Tools HD 7.3/7.4 Bundle Digidesign
Pro Tools HD 9 Digidesign Bundle
Pro Tools 9 Digidesign License
Pro Tools HD 8 Digidesign License
Pro Tools HD 9 Digidesign License

Which of these would be useful to someone as part of my HD sale, while allowing me to RETAIN my current PT 9 (if any)

You can sell the 7 or 7.3/7.4 bundle

Hi chris..thnx for the reply ! so why can't I sell the Pt8 licence? Is that needed in some way to validate Pt 9 ?

Hi,

The PT8 license looks like it is part of the PT9 bundle! Bundles can not be separated. Unless the PT8 license is separate! then you can.

Thanks Chris..thats what I suspected

I imagine that the 7 bundle could then be updated by the customer to 8 or 9 (with a fee!) so at least I can sell it with software rather than standalone hardware
