ever since migrating from G5 to 1.67 G4 pb i get constant and consistent 9136 and 9094 errors (cpu holding off usb audio....)
yes i've had these messages in the past but only very infrequently and usually due to overloading trackas and plug ins... the usual. this time round playback and record will stop when ever i move mouse over the dock for example. airport and bluetooth off only running free DIGI plug ins only running 4 stereo tracks on this particular session h/w buffer size at 1024 (tried at other settings too) tried on mac internal drive and external fw even tried a different Mbox. its a work machine and our (very good) IT guy is stumped too anyone experienced similar? Don't ask me why but anything under Pro Tools 7 won't function on a high def powerbook, i had no end of grief with my powerbook and as soon as i updated to 7 the problem was sorted.
Take the plunge! PS: I used to get really annoyed with a crackling sound that used to start as soon as i launched Pro Tools on the powerbook, the only way to stop it was to download the chud tools developer tool and disable CPU napping under the new processor pane that gets added to your preferences. In the end i just sent the powerbook back for a refund, enough was enough!!!
