Can\'t hear MIDI signal
Hello...I am running an Mbox with Pro Tools 6.1 on a MAC G4. I'm trying to run an Alesis Quadrasynth into my system. The signal is being received and recorded onto my session but I can't hear it through headphones, either while recording or during playback. Does anybody know why? Everything seems to be configured correctly. I've tried all kinds of setings in Audio/MIDI Setup but nothing seems to work. Help!

You need to hook up the audio ins and outs to your PT hardware AND create an Aux Track set to that input and the output for your monitors.
The midi signal is NOT audio, only data.
