Default ADAT or SPDIF

hi,

i´m buying the digi002 rack and i just read on the spec. of the rack:

"8 channels of ADAT optical I/O or 2 channels of S/PDIF I/O"

does this mean that i have choose from ADAT or SPDIF when i´m buying the stuff?

No, both inputs come w/ it - look at the pic: [image]http://digidesign.com/products/digi002rack/systems/images/digi002rack_big.jpg[/image]

Maybe it means you can only use one at a time? I'm not sure.

Not exactly. The optical I/O can be either S/PDIF (2 channel) or ADAT (8 channel). In the software, you choose which one you want it to be.
