Default Time for EQIV?

I don't expect them to turn it into Ozone EQ. But at the very least, there a couple obvious, basic omissions that I'm pretty sure could be updated rather easily:

low & high pass filters and low & high shelves that span the full frequency range

Icing on the cake:

allow low & high bands/filters to go beyond 20 & 20k to more easily replicate major league "musical" EQs at either end

Don't hold your breath. If you want to have EQ that sweeps to 22k you need Sonnox EQ with GML option or something like that. Avid EQ3 is just fine for what it is.

A lot of Avid product videos seem to highlight the FabFilter Pro-Q, which is interesting. (My go-to, as well)

So just curious is it your assertion then that going beyond 20-20 is what makes an EQ "major league musical" ??????

Pro Q3 is excellent, maps good to my Dock, it comes highly recommended and is probably all the EQ you'll ever need.

Certainly the first thing is mundane - hpf/lpf & shelves that go the full 20-20k range.

Funny, I just realized the humble Channel Strip plugin does that. And it goes to 21k! haha

Yeah, they can def update EQIII with those basic options. I prefer the interface.

(not holding my breath)
