Which brings to mind the bigger question do y'all guys use the onboard mixer in BFD? or do you export everything into ProTools and processed their compression ambience EQ?

I typically always bring the audio into PT for processing. I just wanted to do it in BFD 3 to keep it "authentic" for a demo of the program. I am pleasantly surprised about how well the mixer and effects in 3 sound. I used absolutely nothing in PT for that.

I try and never use BFD's mixer; not fond of the effects and besides bringing everything into PT is more like mixing a real drum kit anyways. Let's me fit things to the mix better than using the BFD mixer.

You can resize and spin the kit image...

The kit size knob was what I was missing!! Thank you! again something completely simple. I am going to have to break down and start going through the manual at some point

Ronnie James Dio was a shorty and I think Max Cavalera (ex Sepultura) is a shorty as well.

Oddly I have met them both. Ronnie was like looking at a hobbit, a metal godly hobbit, but a hobbit none the less!!

Max.....I was a HUGE Sepultura fan in the 90's and still say Roots is one of the greatest metal albums ever!!! But I met him 4-5 years ago and he was so frail and fragile looking. I was afraid I would hurt him by shaking his hand!!! His wife (who was built quite proper) looks like she could beat him and all he could do is cower and whimper!!! How that voice comes out of that, I will never understand!! Now I got an urge to listen to Arise.....

Had some free time yesterday afternoon and created another track.
Chose a complete different music style and spent a few doing a quick mix on this one. Tried to push the drums out a bit more as well without stepping on everything else. Went through some different feautures and functions of BFD3 as well that I didnt or didnt know last time. There is a list of things in the description.
