Talkback latch
I've been unable to find a way to put the Procontrols talkback section into "latch" mode. Ie. we don't want to have to hold down the talkback button while we talk to the talent. One push of the button to turn it on and one push to turn it back off.
Any ideas? |

Re: Talkback latch

To put the Pro Control talkback into a "latch" mode, you would need to replace the switch with a "push on, push-off" type switch. The switch which is in the PC now is a "momentary contact" type. It is a mechanical issue, not a software issue. What about creating an auxiliary channel, setting its input to an unused input on your 888 (or whatever) into which you patch an external preamp and mic and then buss it where you need to in Pro Tools? |
