Default Plugin Automatically Disables itself ???

I have a track in record ready.

I have an amp simulator plugin on that track.

I can hear-and-audition the amp simulator as long as the transport is stopped. But, once the transports starts rolling, the plugin automatically puts itself into Bypass.

Apparently, I have accidentally check-or-unchecked something to cause this to happen.

Your support, please.

thanks,

Default Re: Plugin Automatically Disables itself ???

Things to try:
1-disable automation on that track(just in case there is some accidental automation at work)
2-make sure LLM is off(Low Latency Monitoring at the bottom of the Options menu)
3-Make sure you are not in Input Only mode(the green I button should be off)

This is all shooting in the dark. If none of it helps, come back with some details(interface, plugin, OS, etc)

LLM will bypass the plugin when in record ready mode, regardless of whether the transport is rolling or not, so I don’t think it’s that.

Checking automation as Albee said is a good suggestion. You didn’t address anything he wrote, so we don’t know if you’ve ruled that out.

TBH - I’ve come across a setting that does that. I would just trash preferences and go from there. In theory, that would remove any setting you may have inadvertently enabled.
