Yearly support renewal for perpetual Ultimate license

I am still waiting for Avid to respond to me about what it going on, through the official support portal.
It is very, very frustrating to deal with Avid support.

Thanks, but it is not going well.

I've been trying to call them for 40 mins now.
On hold, then got through to a person who immediately hung up.
Back on hold again now.

It is a complete disaster- $400 a year for basically a complete lack of support.

FYI Avid have finally pulled their finger out and fixed my issue.
I had to spend about $40 in phone calls to do it.
