Pro Tools LE 7.1 + Snow Leopard and update to 8.0.4

Hi

If i buy used Mbox 2 with Pro Tools LE 7.1. Can i install it to snow leopard and update to 8.0.4? Problem is that 7.1 not support snow leopard. Need to know that is installing PT 7.1 possible to snow leopard and then update. Is 8.0.4 update free for 7.1 users? If this not work i need buy new Mbox 2.

Only Protools 8 will work on Snow Leopard. And there is no free upgrade to 8 from anything, unless you bought one brand new from a dealer that had been sitting on the shelf for 3 years, which is not the case here.

Protools 8 is $150. Depending on how much you pay for the used one, combined with this, you may be better off with a new one, since it will include the protools 8 software.
