session suddenly running extremely slow
working on a session that completely freaked out. the song started playing and would not respond to any commands. now it seems to be running very slowly (key commands do not respond in a timely manner).
this particular tune is the only one of five that seems to be affected. there are even far less plug ins on this one than the others. any ideas? ptl 7cs4 powerbook g4, 1.67 ghz, 1gb lacie external drive 232.9 gb |

Re: session suddenly running extremely slow
check the size of the Audio Files folder... this USUALLY happens when you've got loads of hidden underlying regions and audio files.
Consolidate and then delete the things you don't need. if all else fails, make a NEW session and only import the things you need from this old, slow, session.
