5.1 tips and tricks ......

ok, except for the following great additions that 5.1 brought to our toy ... what else have you boys and girls discovered to "come in handy" since 5.1 ....... let's hear it .....

- fader plugin edits ....
- improved scrubwheel action ....
- alpha lock key
- mon/phase switch to toggle between input only and auto input ....
- ???????

any other tips / tricks that make Procontrol a better surface since 5.1 ?????

Ah.........no trim with Scrub? I thought this was the version it would be implemented! Can you at least use the scrub wheel for the insertion selector now?

insertion selector .... ??? you could with preveious versions too .... pref called insertion follows trim / scrub .... and after scrubbing the selector is where you stopped scrubbing .

I realize if you are in scrub mode the scrub wheel follows insertion, but I would like to be able to use the scrub wheel to navigate around the session without every function on PC shutting down because I am in scrub mode................
So is there no trim scrub in 5.1?

Hey PC users... I just got my first PC in the mail on saturday (overnight fedex.... I couldn't wait any longer).

Besides it being an amazing upgrade to the HUI, what tips and tricks in general do you guys have (aside from 5.1 upgrade stuff...)
