Blue screen and crash when I try to open Pro tools
I recently bought Mbox and Pro tools but when I had installed pro tools, and rebooted of course, when I try to open the program it crashes and I get a bluescreen and it reboots automaticly . In the instructions that follows Mbox they tell me to uninstal pro tools and install it again but the same problem continues even if I do. I've tried allmost every thing that the instructions say should fix it but nothing works. Any ideas?

If you are using an AMD 64 processor, do a search here for the "DEP fix"

Make sure you are running SP1. If that is what you are running then you may have an incompatible motherboard. See if you can get us some information on the chipset of your motherboard.

The only thing I know about the chipset is that it's a VIA.

I had a similar problem. This may work for you--go to Controll Panel-->Display-->Settings-->Advanced-->Troubleshoot and turn the "Hardware Acceleration" slider all the way down. I had a similar problem--Windows kept telling me it was a graphics card error.
