tascam us 2400 tutorial to configurate in protools

hi , i wish to know if anybody know how configurate teh tascam us 2400 to control the plugins parameters , the automatizations and all the capabilities of this work surfase in protools , i have a protools hd 8 , thanks for your help

I use the us2400 in my studio. I pretty much forgot about hoping to have a chance of maybe, one day, use the us2400 to automate plugins. You could if you were using another software than PT though. The us2400 works well though appart that there is no way to view the track names, which is the only real flaw. The surround joystick works also pretty well but there is an ergonomical quirk being that you must press a button next to the joystick simultaniously to enable it, there fore requiering your two hands. You should try modifying the foot pedal asignement to remedie this problem...

Hey zblip2,
I just found this post, and was cerious if you are running PT8 ... ever since I have installed PT8 my US2400 stopped working properly. Have you noticed anything? If so, did you find a fix?

HI,

I have the problem, that the TASCAM does not refresh all the faders into the correct position.

My feeling says, that MIDI might be too slow???

Do you have this problem, too?
A solution?
