There should be absolutely nothing strange about these fuses, any automotive parts store, Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, local electronics shops, hardware stores, electronics distributors, etc. Likely one of the very common glass fuses in 1/4" or 5mm (diameter) series (x whatever length). The manual should give a description or mfg. part number. Stores will be able to help you find equivalent fuses. Take the old fuse with you to the store.
And given some rare chance you can't find a replacement then reply with what exactly the manual says, what is marked on the fuse as a part number or code, etc. and post a photo and accurate dimensions. |

Thanks Darryl
I wrote Tube-tech as I did not find in the manual or in their website specs or anything else about the fuses....only the tubes. |

If they are just glass fuses they will often have a code stamped or printed on them or just measure the diameter and length to work out what series they are (e.g start with 1/4" diam or 5mm diam). Manufacturers like Littelfuse have fuse identification pages/tools on their websites or like I said just take them to a better retail store (like an good auto parts store) and ask for help.

Getting fuses these days isn't easy since Radio Shack went away. Lowes and Home Depot - forget about it. Auto parts store - modern vehicle fuses are a totally different than the old 3AG fuses. Buying online and the shipping will end up costing more than the fuses themselves.

My local Home Depot has 3AGC and 3MDL fuses, not in a huge variety but they have them, and even better than typical stores the retired electrician who works in that department is one of the most helpful retail employees I've ever met... damn that guy is good (and rare at Home Depot).
Auto parts stores also sell 3AGC and 3MDL fuses, e.g. https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BK_7821046 Again selection might be limited, but these are/were automotive fuses and used in cars still on the road. 3AGC and 3MDL tube fuses were used up to the 1980s in some USA manufactured cars and so still are needed as spare parts. Again, no idea what actually was needed here as the OP never posted anything about fuse dimensions, ratings or stamped/printed part codes. |

also, bussman fuses (pretty common) are found in the box stores, online in amazon, grainger, digikey, etc

Mouser is a good source for hard to find fuses (due to my equipment, I have to often find UK vs US fuses and in the US, those aren't readily available.)

I was just going by my experience here in NJ.
As to what the OP needs I looked up the unit and the manual has no info on the fuses and all that's marked on the back panel is for a .4 amp fuse when used at 230 vac and .8 amp fuse when used at 115 vac. From what I can see of pictures of the innards there are at least three small on-board fuses near what I'm assuming is the internal power supply. |
