Pro tools 7.3 unable to locate digidesign hardware.
I've been trying to install pro tools on my computer, it's a MacBook Pro with the 10.4.9 combo update. When I launch pro tools an error message comes up "Unable to locate Digidesign hardware, make sure your hardware is connected and turned on. Click 'OK' when the hardware is ready." The Mbox2 itself appears to be working and the computer says that it is connected but pro tools won't open any further. If anybody has had a similar problem could you let me know what's happening?

Try the USB port closest to you on the left hand side. I just went through this with an original MBox.
