7.3.1cs1 and now sessions are snafu missing files

Hi,

Just done the cs1 update to get the fixes! and now my sessions are all loading with missing regions and files

I never had any problems till i installed the cs1 which is supposed to fix this type of problem, not cause it!!

Relinking isn't working either! the files seem to be in the folder, so i don't know why they're not loading and why relink is failing to find them!

I'll have to check further...

It was similar to that thread but not identical really!

I have fixed the sessions now! as the files were still in the audio folder.

Here's what happened...

The mother Session started 3 weeks ago and various audio files were dragged and dropped from the desktop into the session, (lets call these audio files A) 2 weeks later more audio files were added to the session, again dragged and dropped from the desktop (lets call these audio files B)

Now this is where it gets a complicated?...

This is a stem mix & mastering session for an album and every song was treaty and processed separately and saved separately, BUT all song session originated from the first mother session!! so at the end i had 13 song sessions with different names, but they all originated from the mother ship? with me so far? good, glad you're paying attention

All 13 song session have their "audio files A" missing from the sessions, just greyed out, but these audio files are in the audio folder and i could go to the audio folder and drag them back in and voila!! luckily all these files started from the top, so the fix was relatively easy! all audio files B were unaffected!!

Relink didn't work

As far as i could see, these missing audio files had the exact same title as the ones in the audio folder.
