sound quality on internal bus
I am noticing that when I route several tracks through an internal bus, the sound seems a little thinner than when the tracks are assigned directly to the master output.
Anyone know how to remedy this? thanks |

Re: sound quality on internal bus
Make sure you're not clipping the buss with too many hot signals.

Re: sound quality on internal bus
Yep. Place a master fader of your subgroup input next to the subgroup, and you'll know if it's clipping. If it doesn't clip, then it should not thin the sound -- if it would, then it would also thin the sound every time you instantiate a plugin!!
