I was wondering if there is an easier way of isolating the centre channel information in pro tools than doing it manually ie mono and phase reverse etc. Someone told me waves stereo imager would do it using mid side but when i use that on a stereo track i can't separate the mid and the side from the stereo track.?
I know there's an easier way cheers

pan them hard and send them to two mono aux tracks. (an easier way to get the center channel using the shuffler is to simply squeeze the image down to nothing on the width control. All the way open won't give you pure side though.)
