Problem with create fades short cut
I have searched for this but cannot find any threads/discussions. It appears that Control+F does not bring up the fade box. Am I missing something?
Windows 10 and PT 2021.6.0. It worked on the previous version... Thanks, Kent |

Re: Problem with create fades short cut
Hmm,2 things come to mind:
1-have you selected a clip or part of a clip first? 2-why not use the Smart Tool fade tool?

Or D/G for a fade from the cursor to the front/back of the Clip or F in Commands Focus Mode.
That said, the key combination CTRL+F should bring up the Fade Dialogue window whether a Clip is highlighted or not.

Re: Problem with create fades short cut
Thanks very much for the helpful tips and workarounds. Interestingly, I closed the session and PT and restarted my computer. Control+F now works as it should.
