Got my first gig!

Yippee. Me and my new band, BobbleHead-Po just got a gig to play in NYC at the Village Underground. We're only a cover band for the moment, but this is really cool... Thought I'd share the excitment...

Hey that's awesome. The Village Underground is a great place to play. Nice backline compared to most other city clubs. Tell the drummer to bring a boom stand if he needs one as they only have straight stands and also tell him they have a sonar snare which requires a different drum key if he isn't bringing his own and needs to tune up theirs. Thanks for the support guys. The gig is at the Village Underground at 7PM on Wednesday June 19th. We have a 50mn set which combines 70's and 90's and 00's stuff(Floyd - Stone Temple Pilots - Creed - Traffic - CSNY), we're playing first, but there's 5 bands playing until 11PM I think.
I play bass in the band, although I mostly play guitar at home and to write my own stuff. If any of you stop by, my name is Philippe Hatstadt.
I won't use ProTools live, but I did use ProTools to extract the sound effect intros of 2 Floyd songs we're gonna do (Breathe and Time from Dark Side Of The Moon).
In terms of the band name, the guy who got us the gig thinks that BobbleHead is better than BobbleHead Po, because that sounds like Winnie The Pooh. Oh well, we may drop the Po, I dunno.
Anyways, it would be cool to meet some of you guys.

That's killer, I live in Jersey City and will try and take the Path in and see your show. Hey, let me know if you know of any bands looking for a guitarist/slash vocalist. I just moved her from CA. and I have major experience performing. I remember my first club show and than I remember the day we opened for STP, so you see with hard work and kick ass songs you never know what will happen. Good luck to ya.
