Default Warm, yet punchy

First, I want to say that I really enjoy this forum and have found it very informative. That said, it's really difficult to get any real information about how different equipment variations really sound. Statements like "I'm getting professional quality with my preamps...or mics...or converters", "These preamps are warm, yet punchy", or "I've never gotten sound quality this good before" really don't mean anything. I appreciate the comments and I realize that this is just a problem that comes with a written forum about sound. I thought that it may be a good idea for some who are producing and\or engineering projects on their 001 systems to offer there cds for sale here along with a detailed description of their setup, maybe even techniques. It might be a way for everyone to learn a little more and even make a little bit of money from their music (God forbid!) Of course, I am just speaking for myself. Maybe there woudn't be enough demand for this, but would anyone else be interested?

I could be convinced. It depends on how happy I am with these first few projects I'm doing on my 001. I have a feeling this forum would be a tough crowd. But, yeah. I think we all could benefit from that.

Good idea. I would pay a few bucks for something like that. And I'd offer my own as well...once it is good enough!

Having been a musician my whole life, but recording for only the past few months, I'm amazed at how much more to it there is than meets the eye. Thanks to this forum, I'm learning quite rapidly.

AN EXCELLENT IDEA! I'd gladly lay down some hard-earned bucks for 001-recorded
music with detailed descriptions of set-up, techniques, settings, tricks, etc...
That sort of help would be invaluable to us "newbees", and allow the vets on the DUC
to actually make a little cash for all the expert help they always unselfishly lavish on us.
Any of you "gurus" interested???
