We've checked it on all browsers now and it seems to be working on our end. There was a problem in the first few hours when it was launched, so please re-register if you didn't see it there. It should be good now.

Sorry for the hassle..
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Kuba,

Both sessions will be recorded and will be available about 2 - 3 weeks afterwards. You can find them in the Pro Mixing Webinar Archive:

Thanks,
Tom

Any idea where to find the webinar?
I've registered, but I've received nothing like a confirmation email, and can find no URL for the webinar itself.
Help please?

Sorry guys, it was a busy day juggling the webinar prep and event.
I will investigate why you didn't get the confirmation email. And... I will get you the links to the recorded versions as soon as possible.
Thanks...

Hi Tom:

I got a confirmation e-mail allright, a few hours before the show started, and I did listen to the webinar. The confusion stemmed from the fact that it wasn't clear how / where we to tune in. It might have helped if the site said something like "you will receive a confirmation e-mail no more than 4 hours before the start of the program with a hyperlink to the program" or something to that effect.

It was quite interesting, though I get the impression that an important part of the mission to promote Avid hardware ... though I guess that shouldn't be totally surprising.

I've confirmed that many people received the confirmation email - but it ended up in their email spam mailboxes. You may want to whitelist/add to your address book "[email protected]".

Yes - the purpose of these webinars is to promote Pro Tools and all of it's ancillary equipment that enhances customer workflows. I personally feel we are extremely mild on the 'sales pitch' and more focussed on showing you how and why this is the best solution on the market. We also go out of our way to explain and educate people on the terminology, the workflow, the methods and behind the scenes stuff that people don't often share.

Here's some feedback from Twitter on the latest webinar which I think validates what I'm saying:

The indie soundtrack webinar was so good, I had to attend both sessions! Well mixed, @avid #ProMixing.
Douglas Horvat, Persuasive Sound (Pennsylvania)

Paula Gomez, Audio Engineer (Bogota, Columbia)

watching the live @Avid webinar on Audio-Post, ADR and Foley! They really answer your questions, how cool is that
Joey Santos, Studio Engineer (Manila, Philippines)

Thanks to the crew @Avid for a great webinar on indie film sound! #ProMixing
Billiard Productions (Victoria, Australia)

Learned some interesting things from @Avid during #ProMixing. Thanks guys!
Thomas Harris (Calgary, ON)

@Avid makes a solid product and produces quality webinars. Thank you!

Tom

FYI I finally got the email (correctly in my inbox, not my spam folder) but 28min after the session I intended watching had started.

It is possible that I got the EST to GMT conversion wrong, and that the email actually arrived on time, but I don't think so. It's a small detail, but would it be possible to have a "select your time zone" on notifications?

Hope that helps.
