Talking PT8 upgrade options

PT8 looks very nice - but this is a request to Digi to do something similar to what they did a while back with one of the PT7 releases which was to do offer an "upgrade plus" price whereby you also got to pick up a few TDM plugs at a really good overall price. Given a lot of this release seems to be in response to Logic 8's range of plugs and VI's, an "upgrade plus" offering that rounds out a more complete production studio would be really excellent. This email is of course completely self serving! Just hoping Digi marketing pick up on it.......

Red face Re: PT8 upgrade options

Hi Digi,

Just curious...I'm about to pick up my new HD2 Accel system, but I realized that many of the plugs that come with HD2 at the moment, are going to be FREE with PT8.

Now...since I'm told that I can get a free upgrade to PT8 later, I'm REALLY wondering if there's gonna be a new plug-in package for HD2. And if so, will I be given the new package as well? Should I actually wait for the new package to come out so that I could get more plugs that come with HD2?

Yeah I know I'm being anal... But the value of bundled plugs IS one incentive for me to pass LE and dive right into HD.

Many thanks~!!

Which ones are you referring to specifically? I don't know of any of the HD Pack bundle plug-ins that are coming free with PT8, other than a version of SansAmp.

I'm just wondering what you're reading and from where...
