Anybody still using a clamshell?

I need help in getting the most of my ibook Clamshell 466 SE (FW).
I believe i can only use mbox running PT 5 in OS9 in this machine..
How does it perform.. can someone help me? If not PT how about ather hardware and software?
MOTU? M-Audio? Cubase? Logic? Help badly needed.
