ProTools itself is OK, but we've got plugins that won't load unless you run ProTools using Rosetta. Confirm all your necessary software is good to go!! Even TC Electronics says their plugin for the Clarity M meter is OK with M1/2 chip, but it doesn't work correctly doing a high-speed bounce unless you're using Rosetta.

It is the best Pro Tools version I have ever used minus some of the known long standing issues from version to version, but over all I must say again I am very happy with it. Im looking forward to what's coming this year! They finally seem to be on the right track again and I'm not sure what brought about the change last year but I hope it continues. I find myself getting excited about Avid products again.

So if one has one of the newer Macs, does this mean you can record vocals, etc, and not hear a delay? Say I want to use a UAD Native LA-2a on a vocal...? If so it seems one still needs UAD or Carbon...

All good for many months an have been very busy here with picture related and ATMOS work. Solid as it's ever been here, even with the minor security updates. Not interested in Sonoma at all until it's really debugged for what I do.
