Copying MIDI notes from channel to another?
Hello, I've just started with ProTools and as old Cubase user the one thing I haven't be able to do is to copy MIDI notes between different channels. It's easy to duplicate notes within one midi-channel but somehow as I try to copy notes from channel 1 and then activate channel to and try to paste notes to channel 2 it just won't do that. You might think how the hell this guy is going to record audio etc if he can not copy even midi notes but funny enough, recording has been quite easy - so far Thanks for advice! |

Re: Copying MIDI notes from channel to another?
Select the notes, copy, move selection to the destination track, paste.
So, with Commands Keyboard Focus enabled it's: - select notes - "C" (copy) - "P" moves selection up/ "Semi-colon" moves selection down - "V" (paste)
