So far so good, the faders even initialized properly when starting PT. This is a good sign, however I have only tried shutting it down and starting up twice... still 128 samples is the lowest h/w buffer setting.

Cool! that is great news Brad! I'm running a Project Mix too
so that sounds promising. I'm eager to buy the SL upgrade but
I wanna make sure things are working well across the board before I dive in.

Corerect me if I'm wrong but I thought I read in another topic that someone
from tech support posted that this new driver will also work in 10.5.8 as well.
Have you tried this? I'm not having any real issues but if it helps the
fader situation in Pro tools I might give it a go.

I haven't tried it yet on the 10.5.8 partition (I like to have one stable image before I try something new and get totally wiped, once bitten and all that), however I will give it a go this evening.

Still getting some funkiness in the display, although so far the faders seem responsive.

So far so good with with 10.5.8. The faders all initialize when I load up a new session. As with 10.6.1 there's a little funkiness in the PM I/O display sometimes. Scrolling the display to the left or right seems to correct this. But nice to have the faders active again.

I've been using PT8 with 10.6.1. Works fine. I have two computers running PT8, one is an iMac with a Fast Track Pro Ultra, and the other has a Project Mix. Both are working fine.

I must say that they were really fast in getting updates out....unlike when Apple went from 10.4 to 10.5........
