Bounce to Disk or External Device?
Maybe it's just my perception, but it seems to me that the bounce I get whether it is 24 or 16 bit is several dbs lower than what i'm getting through the monitors while doing the mix. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Do you guys prefer to bounce to 2 track within the computer or to an external recorder like the Tascam or HHb BurnIT?

Re: Bounce to Disk or External Device?
Is your master fader at unity? Do you play back the 2 mixes through PT? itunes and your computer will have different volume defaults.
Most people I know bounce to stereo or multiple mono and master from there.
