When a company says on its website they will support a product they put out for sale and promoted it extensively and does not think we as consumers will point out that they did not with only facts.
First, let's look at how they advertised this product to us. https://youtu.be/3iPB837IOEA Now let's look at how they said they would support this product until 6/30/24 they did not support it just look at the years and years and OS after OS they did not support and the time it took for them to do anything. There is still time for them to update drivers but they choose not to when they say they will support this product until 6/30/24 These are the dates that MacOS came out on. Check out the link for Win. Catalina 10/7/2019 - Big Sur 11/19/20 - Monterey 10/25/21 - Ventura Fall 2022 It is 2023 and on the AVID website it says they will SUPPORT the Eleven Rack until 6/30/24 and this is what is on their website. (Final driver release for macOS April 22, 2021) I will never buy anything from AVID again and it's funny how they are selling their company for the second time. The truth is here https://avid.secure.force.com/pkb/ar...n-Rack-Drivers |

As I understand it, the end of support dates are for parts and repair, not necessarily drivers. Some devices still get driver updates past their end dates.

As has been said by others before, avid could probably pay for the driver
By charging $20 for the driver update. I’d pay it, and I would think others would too? by them not supporting it, does not encourage me to buy more avid products. |

Number of customers using said products. The more customers there is that uses a product, the more it is in Avid best interest to keep making drivers for an item. 1 customers that buys a 78k product is just still on customer, vs 50k customers buying a 3000$ product.. that's a lot more incentive to keep updating said product. |
