Timing problems at 00:00:02:57 ?
Hi,
A very strange thing happens. When the session playback reaches about 2 minutes and 57 seconds, the play cursor loses smoothness and the beat clock sent out of the midi port becomes irregular creating timing problems to the midi sequencern (on another computer)slave to it. This only happens with large sessions, not with a few tracks. Anybody knows what I'm talking about? Thank you Mix+++/Magma13r/G4-466/Atto/Digidrive/C24 |

I've run into this kind of thing before. A common problem which causes stuff like this is that the "Energy Saver" control panel has been removed from the control panels folder. Make sure that it's installed and set to "Never Sleep" with no other options. If it's not present, Mac OS seems to daydream sometimes, and if it's after about 3 minutes of minimal keyboard activity, etc., this sounds familiar. Hope it helps!
