Default Wavelab Pro with Protools HDX

Is anybody using Wavelab Pro with Protols HDX hardware on OSX? Any success with the "External FX" Plugin in Wavelab? My setup is OSX Ventura, Protools HDX 2024.10.2 and the Input on the "Insert FX" plug in doesnßt get a signal. Analog Patchbay ist checked and works.

Hi. Have you already setup External FX in the Audio Connections?

From what I saw, In the Master Section or Inspector, you’ll need to add the External FX plug-in to the effects list.
In the External FX window, open the Audio Bus menu and select the bus that you have set up in the Audio Connections.

In the Latency section, click Detect to measure the latency of the audio signal.
Latency is the time it takes for the audio signal from WaveLab Pro, through the external effect device, and back to WaveLab Pro. WaveLab Pro automatically adapts to the latency.

Use the Send Gain and Return Gain faders to adjust the gain of the outgoing and incoming audio.

Can you share a screenshot or screen recording of your workflow?

Have done this exactly! The interesting thing is, that with Protools HD Native in my Studio B it works. Has somebody done this in HDX successfully?

First question is the CoreAudio device for your HDX interface alive and working? Shows up OK in Audio Midi setup? Including while you are trying to use it here? Nothing else trying to use it? This CoreAudio driver does not seem the most reliable thing.

Edit: and wavelab has macOS "Mic" privilege? Here it is recording audio from coreAudio inputs so needs that.
