Playlist behaviour changed?

This hit me a time or two as well. What really helps me is, I name my original track(before any additional playlist tracking) to the name of the track with the suffix .01(as in LdVox.01 or Bass DI.01). Same here. Great for vocal or other music overdub sessions, even better for ADR.

I would love to know the reasoning why it was changed, but I too would rather it work the way it worked before. This new way is confusing.

This is unacceptable in my opinion. How many years of how it worked before and now it gets changed?


Its slowing down the process! Especially when doing vocal tracking!!

I'm not seeing this behaviour has reverted? Just updated and the selected playlist still jumps to the top of the list for me.

Wait—so the .1 fix didn't revert to the classic Playlist behavior? I skipped 2024.10 specifically for that reason.
