Man, that sucks!

Hopefully you had everything insured. Hopefully you had data backups that they didn't take. And hopefully the police will catch the SOB's that did this to you and send them away for a LONG time!

Ouch !! ..... I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm sure that you are doing some heavy duty detective work. Neighbors ? Clients ? so -called friends ?

I lived in Miami for a long time, so this hits home to me. 527 sounds like a Kendall prefix if I'm not mistaken.

Dude, I'll keep you in prayer, and maybe it will show up

Unfortunately I was not insured, hich was probably one of the dumbest things I have ever done. All of my backups were on a second internal drive. Again my fault. I am one of those happy go lucky guys that realy hoped that these kinds of thing didn't happen in the wold, but I was wrong.
hoever did this knew exactly hat they wre going for and thee were a very limited amount of people that even knew about the rig. so please if any of you could keep your eyes open for any signs of this rg. I wuld really appreciate it. I know I am probably screwed but this has always been a very helpfull community, so I will just hope I can find more information

Holy crap...I think I would be in tears if this happened to me. I'm sorry for your loss..I live in Miami too...Kendall to be exact. I'll keep my ears open but I don't really hang out with any hardcore studio types that would be after such a rig. I have had my car broken into and jacked up THREE times in 3 years and the same thing my family keeps telling me is that it was someone who knows me (maybe even a "Friend") or someone close to someone who knows me. Close enough that they know what I have in my car and when I forget to take out my stereo. Keep your head up.

Did you go away on a trip?...If so, Who knew you were going and keep friends and family in mind...I know that sounds harsh but these are the type of questions you need to be asking yourself...Think back to what happened in prior weeks that may seem like an obvious sign to you now...I don't have my stuff insured either and I would kick myself if anything like that ever happened...I'm holding out til I get my place paid off this year and put it with my homeowners policy but that won't help if anything happens NOW...Hopefully someone (neighbors) saw something...My thoughts go out to you...

Oh man...I am so sorry this happened to you. I truly feel for you(similar has happened to me). Do you have any serial numbers or markings on any of it that could be watched for at pawn shops(a long shot, but still a possibility). If so, you would need to act fast.
Regardless, I'll say a prayer for you. Let us know how it goes. -Roy

That's horrible. I'm sorry to hear about it.
I've seen people with similar posts on the Buy and Sell forum so you may want to post there also.

Keep an eye on Ebay and any other site where people sell music gear. I also think that you should suspect everyone. Especially since you mentioned that not too many people even knew you had this stuff.

Good luck,
Marc

DIGI2000
I am not sure about the logistics of this but
I for one would be willing to make a trip to
the local music shops for you. Just make a
detailed list in printable form with phone#'s.

I hate that feeling "in the gut" and am saddened
by the state of our world.
