Re: select next clip in timeline (on all tracks)
Maybe : edit-group specific tracks or use the ALL group and work with Ctrl Tab and Ctrl Shift Tab to select whole clips and not just segments of clips.
What do you want to specifically achieve with that ? (After selecting all those next clips.)

Re: select next clip in timeline (on all tracks)
hey joachim,
thanks for your reply. i thought this a s quick way to jump from one clip to the next one within an adr editing session without using the mouse. i found myself often switch between the right part of my keyboard and my mouse with my right hand. just to select the next clip in timeline. of course i still can use the "p" and "o" key to switch the track and than hit ctrl tab to select the next clip. but it would be more convenient to trigger this via one command… after the clip is selected i want to nudge it back and forward, create fades on it, etc… than move on to the next clip… Last edited by johannes1; 07-07-2015 at 03:45 AM. |

Re: select next clip in timeline (on all tracks)
I think, with a simple edit group and Tab Tab ... Shift Tab, you can easily jump to the boundaries of clips located on different tracks.
On Windows and an Expertkeys keyboard this works : You need a group "a" for this. <LCtrl><LAlt>3<->a<-><LCtrl><LAlt>1<->p<Delay100ms>ö<Delay100ms><LGUI><Tab><LCtrl><LAlt >3<->a In steps : <LCtrl><LAlt>3<-> ......set focous to group list a<-> ........................select group "a" <LCtrl><LAlt>1<-> ......set focus back to edit window p<Delay100ms> ..........move edit selection up ö<Delay100ms> ..........move edit selection down (this assures an insertion in all grouped tracks selected) <LGUI><Tab> .............= Start Tab , to select the next clip <LCtrl><LAlt>3<->a ....set focous to group , deselect group "a" There must be some quickeys equivalent. And Shift Scrollwheel is also a friend.
