Default EZMix 2

Hey, has anyone else tried EZMix 2? At the very least this is a really great learning tool. All kinds of great stuff there and if ya wanna learn how to create/EQ guitar and bass patches that work in the mix, (some quite stunning really) this is the ticket. I know purists are not gonna like it but wow.... sounds good! Would love to recreate those patches on the 11R if possible.

You can download the Lite version for free for the rest of May.

No, I have nothing to do with toontracks. I just downloaded the demo a week ago and was blown away really.

It may sound glorious but at the end, doing your own mixing and mastering will pay off. I started with ezmix but soon realized that every song has to be threatened in a different way, and presets are just a starting point.
However, really useful for quick demos and tests

I hear ya Ray. For sure every song is different. If you think about it thought it isn't all that much different than starting with some presets from anything else we use such as a reverb unit or an Eleven Rack and like I say, it is a pretty good learning tool for sure. Perhaps the biggest drawback is that some presets don't have much to control but they are well thought out and usually give you enough to make the changes you need to make. I agree though that there is a lot you are not going to learn but yeah, for a quick demo and even some real projects, it really can save some time.
