How to have Quick controls on Mc mix from cubase 6 ?
Hi,
I'm on Cubase 6 (32bits version), on PC with an euphonix MC mix (os : win7 64) I can't manage to have the quick controls on my MC mix? in péripherals configuration there is a tab for Quick Controls where I can assign an "euphonix eumidi" input and output... but I can't find how to access it on the mc mix... does anyone successfully configured it ? Re: How to have Quick controls on Mc mix from cubase 6 ?
found it !! on the nuendo section of "eucon application setup" documentation.
: To use Quick Controls with MC Mix Press and hold the EQ knob set selector until it blinks and then release. Each of the selected track’s eight Quick Controls are displayed and can be adjusted with the encoders. so good I spend hours searching the web for an answer.. hope this post will be usefull for somebody not finding it in doc, as me.. |

Quote:
That means that I can configure eight EQ parameters of my favorite EQ plug-ins and have easy access to them on my MC MIX. Great news! * UPDATE * Adding Quick Controls in Cubase 6 seems to add just one control on each Page. My MC MIX only shows one parameter at a time and I have to use the Page button to edit another Quick Control. But the I found out that I have to engage the CHAN button to show all eight parameters at the same time. I'm a happy camper now! Any way to loose the knob acceleration and set a static value for increasing and decreasing the parameters? It would be nice if turning the knobs worked the same way as they do when using the EQ button, cause they don't seem to have the same acceleration or high sensitivity altering the built-in EQ in Cubase 6. Cheers Fred
