Default Recording múltiple instruments at the same time(003rack factory)

Hi,
How do I record different instruments at the same time on my 003 rack factory(Protools8)?
For instance:
Track 1: Drums(stereo), input 1-2
Track 2: Bass guitar(mono), input ??(I can only see in Protools three posibillities, input 1, input 2 or input 1-2)
Track 3:Guitar(mono), input ??
How do I assing the tracks their proper input, 3 to 8?

Why cant I hear the recorded track when the r(recording)led on the track is lit?(I used to do it with Protools 7 and my old MBox2)
Thanks in andvance guys!

It sounds like you may not be seeing all of your inputs in the patchbay, have you created them?

Setup, I/o, press the load defaults button. Hit yes to erase unused paths.
