Default Auto Tune EVO upgrade question

I'm on PT 7.4.2 and OS 10.5.4, and I've had AT 4 forever. Some time back I had reservations about going to EVO and now I can't remember why.

Any reason not to go to EVO? (Melodyne notwithstanding). The compatibility matrix on the AT site gives it a thumbs up...

I like it a lot. It seems to sound better than previous versions, and offers some improved functions, like note-based editing in graphic mode (much faster - you may not use Melodyne), and pitch-shifting with formant processing (for people who really can't sing).

Thanks Jamshied, I've seen EVO in action and like a lot of the new functionality, and the issue some have had with the timing doesn't faze me.

I should have been more specific in asking if anyone has had issues with it causing crashes or hiccups, or not integrating properly with certain version of PT or the OS.

AT seems like a company on the up and up with good support, but I thought I'd put this out there to see if there are any hidden issues I don't know about.

Did you all know that until midnight tonight, an upgrade to Evo from an older version is less than half price ($59) from the Antares website? I got an email a couple of days ago.

Audioluche,

Sorry I didn't see your post in time. The email said it was for those who have not previously upgraded, but for those who bought a full version and are still using that version. This may have been a factor for you if you didn't get an email.

Also, someone mentioned that the tdm version was not on sale, or not as much (someone correct me here).
