You're right "bad" may be a misnomer in this case . . . more like "not what I was looking for".

TC Unwrap-is awesome - fold downs are fab in stereo
The BBC are using this after extensive tests. They recorded a church service in 5.1 (Songs of Praise) and in blind tests after careful tweaking with parameters, were unable to tell the difference between unwrapped stereo and the true 5.1!

Keep an eye out on the second hand market, mine came up for £200.00!

it seems that you can't go wrong with the UnWraper
is $850 a good price for it?

Where did you find it fo 850? I can't find unwrap for under 1299. Little help.
