Re: Newer Technology Processor upgrades
I bought a Powerlogix Dual 1.6 upgrade card for my 867Mhz G4. I upped the ram from 640MB to 1.5GB at the same time. Gave my machine a whole new life. Works great on 10.3.9 and PT 6.4 with my 001 and with 10.4.8, 7.3 and an MBox. I sold the Mbox and am saving up for a 003 so I can trade in the 001 and ditch panther and 6.4 forever.
I debated getting a mini, but I wasn't quite ready to make the intel switch and I have a bit invested in my desktop (new 16x DVD burner, firewire/usb pci card, rackmount, etc).
