Pro Tools License Transfer

Hey folks, I’m looking to buy a 2nd Pro Tools license from a colleague. It is an older PT10 license and obviously not covered on a support plan.

If we understand it correctly, he needs to buy an Avid Support Code for $39.95 which will transfer the license to my Avid account.

Will this also transfer the ilok license?

You are correct about the Avid Support Plan for $ 39.95.
He still needs to complete the Transfer of Ownership form and deactivate the license(s) from his iLok.
Once everything is completed Avid will transfer the License(s) to your iLok account.
Follow the link below, open the Transfer of Ownership Form, and read the section titled Pro Tools Software (version 9 or higher).
