This is getting tired... but Snow Leopard is not verified for use with Pro Tools yet.

DSM,
if you read the post I have not mentioned "using" pro tools anywhere.
What I did say was "I was waiting for the upgrade to come out."
I just wanted to sync my mixer desk which happens to be a digi002 with my new iMac.
I wanted to use garageband as a temporary programme just to be able to make music.
I feel sure this must be possible without pro tools?
Not everyone on this forum is a computer whizz kid, me especially.

Sorry. Again, my timing was bad. I was grumpy yesterday morning, and I apologize for being snarky.

However, the incompatibility with SL includes hardware. Since a PT update provides the core audio drivers required for hardware functionality as well. In essence, you can blame the incompatibility for your 002 not working until otherwise specified by Digi.

Also... the PACEsupport error suggests an issue with ilok drivers. Do you have one, and is it up to date?
