Keys not working but drum pads work?

Hi all,

I recently purchased and installed pt 12 on my macbook pro running MacOS Sierra. I also have a Arturia Minilab MK II midi keyboard that runs smoothly on ableton live.

However, I have'nt been able to get it to work entirely in PT. The drum pads seem to work when I record using drum pads but I dont get a signal from the keys. I've tried updating the midi keyboards's firmware but nothing has helped at all. On another note in my preferences tab in PT there is no "OK" option just a cancel button and no changes are saved is this a problem??

Check to see if Arturia did something like split the MIDI outputs such that the pads send on one MIDI channel and the keys on another MIDI channel. Arturia is known to do some weird stuff

And with that in mind, know that midi channel 10 is traditionally reserved for drums and percussion
