Well, future looks cool with new toys... as long as PT HDX and HD I/O's are still supported for the next ten years

Have you personally tried V-Control Pro with the latest version of Pro Tools to confirm that?

I’d like to switch to the latest version, but I don’t want to lose the ability to use my Command 8. If V-Control Pro works with PT 2023.3, it would be a reasonably affordable solution.

Back to original topic, I've discovered that if you start a session in Apple Silicon, the native plugins don't show up whether you're in Rosetta or not. If you get stuck with this, start a new session and instantiate a track with native plugins and then import the tracks from the Silicon version. The existing plugins will convert to native. At least this is what I had to do. I'm still in 2023.12.1
