cursor problem
I have ProTools 001. For some reason, my cursor is giving me a problem. When I highlight a region and play it, the highlight disappears when I stop playback instead of staying highlighted. Also the cursor does not return to where I placed it to begin with . Instead, it stops where it is on the timeline when I press the spacebar. It just started doing this. Have I changed a setting that I'm not aware of or has something else happened?
Any help on this is greatly appreciated. It is a pain to work with, not having the same control I did a dqay or so ago. |

Re: cursor problem
Try going into "setup" at the top, select "preferences", then "operation", then uncheck "timeline insertion follows playback"

Re: cursor problem
also, hitting the letter "N" on your keyboard in the edit windowtoggles between the 2 modes. make sure command focus enabled when trying this method.
