Default Disable Auto Take Over

Hi all. .

Whilst I like auto take over, I rarely use it, and am in the muscle memory of using Touch mode & then if required pressing the F to then put the track into Latch. .
I am now unable to do this as pressing the F engages auto take over.
So, my question is, can I turn off ATO or at least change the button that engages it on a channel ?

Greetings,

Eddie will have to weigh in on this, as to my understanding, ATO is now a global behavior that changes how those automation mode interactions you described interact.

best,

Jeff

We are looking at adding ATO option check box in the channel keys editor. This would also be a softkey so you could enable/disable it. Can't promise when yet.

Hi Eddie .
What happens if I assign another / different channel button to engage ATO ?
Does that remove that function from the F button ?

Currently there isn't a different button(for single strip) We would add one in the channel strip options to put anywhere (like around the OLED)
