Default Aardvark and 1622\'s

anyone used the Ardvark with the 1622's and notice a difference? Not very happy with them and was wondering if the improvement would be noticeable.

thanks

Keith

Default Re: Aardvark and 1622\'s

I hooked one up to my 888 and even my girfriend, a total non-engineer, noticed an improvement. She said the cymbals sounded better. You should notice better (wider) imaging and a more clear high end. Apogee just released a sixteen channel AD and DA, but I don't think it functions as an interface for Pro Tools. Check their page though, maybe there's an option or something.
