audiosuite gain
For some reason my gain isn't working, I'm tryin 2 apply gain to different regions. I tried all tracks and no changes occur. I think this happened after I normalized everything. How can I fix this? I need 2 use gain

Re: audiosuite gain
If it's normalised, why do you need to increase the gain further? What about compression and make-up gain to bring up avaerage levels?

Re: audiosuite gain
It sounds like the "use in playlist" button has gotten deselected. That's the button in the top right corner of the audiosuite plug-in's window and it will be white with blue lettering when selected.

Re: audiosuite gain
Normalize makes the audio peaks match up with the max limit of the track. You can't go any higher than the max limit, so adding gain won't do anything (unless you're in Spinal Tap and your track goes to 11...).
Some ideas: 1- Use compression on the track to reduce the peaks, then increase the gain to increase the "apparent" volume. 2- Reduce the level of all other tracks in the project. Len |
